4 steps to achieve your 2020 Business goals in Covid era

Without a doubt this has been a challenging year for everyone. Businesses are having a hard time to grow or even to survive. If you are a business owner, entrepreneur or a sales professional, you know very well what I'm talking about. But what if 2020 is the year for you to thrive? What if this is your lifetime opportunity to stand out from the crowd?  We still have four months and below are 4 steps that can help you make this happen. 1. Adjust your Mindset & Focus.

Changing the way you see what Covid brings into the market will change your results. Telling yourself that ‘’This is my opportunity to do things differently‘’, ‘’This is my opportunity to Excel and grow‘’ will direct your thinking to solutions instead of road blockers

How about, instead of reviewing your 2020 goal and trimming it keep it the same or even set it higher and challenge yourself on how to achieve it? ''What do I need to do differently to get it done?'' 2. Visualize and Feel.

‘’If you can dream it, you can do it,’’said Walt Disney and look what he did!

Imagine yourself having achieved this big goal. How do you feel? How is your life different having achieved that? What motivated you more to achieve it? Write this down and keep it in a place that you can see it every day. Save few seconds every day no matter what to close your eyes visualize and feel having accomplished it. 3. Make your goals S.M.A.R.T .

I'm sure you know that but sometimes we tend to forget. The goals need to be Specific so your mind can focus. Have to be Measurable so you know when it is achieved. Actionable so you can list down all these steps you need to take to get it done. Also Realistic. And that doesn't mean to think of all the reasons that can hold you back it means to list down all the ways that you can do it. Last point the Time. When exactly I'm going to do it? How long its going to take? 4. Process.

Strategy, Organization and Goals are crucial if we want to get results. Once you have set your revised goal, you need to break it into pieces. Get a pen and paper and write down what are the sub-goals you need to achieve in September, in October, in November and in December in order to get your end goal. Now focus in September and breakdown the sub goal into weekly goals and then daily. What are you targeting this week? What are the actions you need to take today to achieve the weekly goal? Have a thought every day on what you achieved versus to what you were planning to achieve and ask yourself how I can do it differently tomorrow.

Goals can be achieved if they're broken into small pieces with a specific action plan behind them and a continues evaluation process. How can I do it better tomorrow? How can I achieve more tomorrow? What motivates me? 5. Life/Work Balance.

First life then work as my coach corrected me few years back. And he was absolutely right, keeping the balance is the only way to go far. This is a Marathon, not a Sprint so make sure you keep good space within the day - every day, for things that relax you and fulfill you. You shouldn't be feeling guilty for that. Success Tip: Emotions are a big success factor. Numbers are good but when we are able to focus on how achieving this goal makes us feel, it really boosts our energy motivation an inspiration! Would love to know your success tips! What are they?
